About Nick

Nick Alex is a husband, father, and grandfather with a lifelong commitment to service and leadership.

He was raised in the Washington, D.C. area as the second child in a family of five, with two sisters and two brothers. Both of his parents were dedicated public servants. His father served in two wars and later worked for the Department of Justice, while his mother was a trailblazer in technology, contributing her talents to the Departments of Defense and Interior.

He married his high school sweetheart, Debbi, and together they raised two wonderful daughters. Today, they’re the proud grandparents of four energetic grandsons who keep them inspired and grounded. They've called Georgia home for over 30 years, spending many of those years in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Five years ago, Debbi and Nick made the move to North Georgia to be closer to family and enjoy the beauty and community of the region. They now live in Rabun County, where they found a deep sense of belonging and purpose.

He graduated from Virginia Tech University majoring in business and finance and entered the banking profession to serve regular people and families like his. As a banking technology product executive with Bank of America, Truist Bank, and US Bank, Nick's work wasn’t just about numbers, it was about people. One part of his job he really enjoyed was helping businesses, whether it was a local shop or a larger company, get the right tools to manage their money wisely. Nick always had a strong sense of satisfaction knowing he could help them feel more confident and in control, and that their money was working as hard as they were.

Whether it was protecting people from fraud, improving access to cash, or simplifying banking technology, Nick always focused on making financial services work better for the people who rely on them every day.

Experience empowers Nick to meet the moment of this grassroots, people-powered movement, building support through in-person conversations with people where they are.

Georgia's 9th Congressional District deserves a leader who listens, respects, and cares for everyone.
